I was paging through my blog, looking for a particular blog post that I had written a year or two ago. As I was scrolling through the choices that had been brought up with the keyword I was using in the search, I was struck by the fact that I am proud of my words that are found on this blog.
Every post, even ones that I wasn’t quite sure about posting? The words make me proud that I wrote them. I’m proud that there is nothing that I have written that I am ashamed of. Those words are a part of me, out in the world, making their way to you.
Yes, there are words that need to be fixed because I missed them in proof reading. But published books have those too!
Yes, there are changes to be made as I have learned more about blogging and writing. But it also shows my progression over time of getting better at what I’m doing.
As I ring in the New Year and start year four in my little corner of the Internet, I’m proud of what I have accomplished here, and hope that you have something in your life that you are proud of too! Something that brings you joy and happiness and a sense of accomplishment.
